Paris, Apr 29 (Prensa Latina) The Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission (IOC) of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) on Tuesday called on member States to promote the study on the role of the oceans in CO2 uptake, which it described as pivotal in confronting climate change.
