Abuja, Aug 29 (Prensa Latina) Heavy and unexpected rains have caused to date the death of six people and the displacement of some 10,000 others in Nigeria, Adamawa State Deputy Governor Kaletapwa Farauta informed. The deaths occurred due to the overflowing of the Benue River, a common situation during the annual rains but unexpected this time, because the rainy season has not yet peaked, Farauta stated.
