Germany calls for direct talks between EU and Russia

Berlin, Jun 28 (Prensa Latina) German Federal Chancellor Angela Merkel on Monday called for a direct talks between the European Union (EU) and Russian President Vladimir Putin, local television reported. Instead of making internal debates about the situation in Russia, the EU should seek a direct meeting with Putin, the German leader considered when speaking in a video conference in the French-German Parliamentary Assembly.
