Havana, Dec 4 (Prensa Latina) Cuban authorities suspended work and teaching activities due to the disconnection of the National Power System early on Wednesday, as a result of the tripping of the automatic switch at the Antonio Guiteras Thermoelectric Power Plant in Matanzas (center).

Havana, Oct 21 (Prensa Latina) Some 769,810 customers residing in 301 circuits in Havana, have electricity power back in their households today, after an unusual outage last Friday left them in the dark along with many others throughout the island.
