Japan to give six million dollars in emergency aid to Myanmar

Tokyo, Apr 2 (Prensa Latina) The Japanese government expressed on Wednesday its willingness to provide an additional six million dollars in emergency aid to Myanmar to assist the victims of the 7.7-magnitude earthquake that struck that nation on Friday, March 28.

Lengthy sentences to Turkish contractors for criminal negligence

Ankara, Mar 22 (Prensa Latina) A Turkish court on Friday sentenced three contractors and an engineer to 17.5 years in prison for criminal negligence in the construction of a building that collapsed in 2023, killing 89 people.
