Havana, Sep 15 (Prensa Latina) The president of the Dominican Republic, Luis Abinader, reiterated today that the construction of a canal on the Dajabón River violates the Treaty of Peace, Friendship and Arbitration of 1929 and defended the closure of the border with Haiti.
