Sponsors of terrorism have destroyed Syria, president says

Damascus, Aug 10 (Prensa Latina) Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad said on Thursday that the responsibility for the destruction his country falls on those parties that defended and supported terrorism. In an interview with the Sky News Arabia channel and broadcast by local media, the president explained that the Army was fighting against extremists who killed, destroyed and burned, and that under the Constitution it is the duty of the Army to defend the State.
