Experience the magic of Cayo Santa María in Cuba

Havana, April 17 (Prensa Latina) Cayo Santa María, in the north-central region of Cuba, is today one of the most beautiful tourist attractions in this archipelago.

Cayo Santa María represents beauty and adventure. A landscape with adequate infrastructure and a cuisine that highlights traditional Creole recipes, yet adheres to world-class health standards.

A truly idyllic location, with environmental conservation, and a hotel and service structure that surprises the most demanding, with the perfect combination of scenery and amenities, further boosted by high-quality recreational nautical activities.

It is an islet of white sand and extremely clean waters, a characteristic that is shared by other, no less famous, cays in its surroundings, such as Ensenachos and Las Brujas, evocative names capable of attracting even the most skeptical.

To reach the site, the ideal way is via a 48-kilometer road over the waters known to Cubans as Pedraplén, which starts from the town of Caibarién in the north of the central province of Villa Clara.

As if that weren’t enough, the other unique feature of these places is that they are the only three Cuban islets connected by roads.

In addition to the sun and sand, they are ideal spots for diving, snorkeling, yachting, and other excursions, as tourist authorities in that area offer travelers over 30 different types of recreational options.

From Buenavista Bay, the landscape is striking, a place considered a Wildlife Refuge with several endemic species, including the hutia rata. This bay borders a wide coral reef, and through this environment, you can reach 500 little keys ¨cayuelos¨.

Cayo Santa María, in particular, is 13 kilometers long and two kilometers wide, making it the largest of the geographic group, with an area of 18 square kilometers, known as the White Rose of Jardines del Rey.

Its beaches stretch for 11 kilometers, with significant names such as Perla Blanca, Las Caletas, Cañón, and Cuatro Punta.

A highly sought-after location for travelers from around the world, it has already attracted the attention of a large number of travel agencies and global tour operators.
