In this and other cities there were also artistic performances on the occasion of the Day of the Sun, so called in remembrance of the date of birth of the eminent leader.
One of the most massive activities was carried out by young people, who performed in the capital’s Kim Il Sung Square a lucid cultural gala that culminated with the launching of fireworks.
In the previous days, photographic and film exhibitions, sporting events and political and cultural events were also organized to commemorate the significant anniversary.
Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the WPK, has received congratulatory messages and messages of sympathy from many leaders of other countries.
