A total of 36 political parties to take part in Venezuela’s elections

Caracas, Apr 16 (Prensa Latina) A total of 36 political parties in Venezuela will take part in the regional elections of May 25, which have already defined their position in the electoral ballot prepared by the National Electoral Council (CNE), it was reported here.

The political forces -13 of the Great Patriotic Pole (GPPsb) and the rest of the motley opposition- went to the CNE to officialize the place to occupy in the document that will govern the elections to elect the governors, the state Legislative Councils and the deputies to the National Assembly (Parliament).

The ballot is headed in the upper left part of its first two rows by the components of the Gppsb, which was evaluated as a sample of the “solid unity of the compatriots” by the representative of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela before the CNE, José Villarroel.

He indicated that the 13 parties comprising the pro-government political bloc “lined up at the top of the first two rows, with presence in the 24 states, including Guayana Esequiba, where for the first time a Governor, a Legislative Council will be elected and will have representation in the Parliament”.
