Lebanon confirms one dead, three wounded after Israeli attack

Beirut, April 15 (Prensa Latina) The Lebanese Ministry of Health confirmed that one person was killed and three others were wounded, including a child, in the Israeli airstrike against a car in Aitaroun, in the south of the country.

According to press reports, an Israeli drone fired three missiles at a Rapid vehicle on the Aitaroun-Bint Jbeil highway, causing civilian casualties.

That same day, an Israeli drone fired a bomb at tobacco farmers near the Aita al-Shaab school in the southern border area, the National News Agency reported. According to the daily Al-Akhbar, Tel Aviv forces fired heavy machine gun fire at a team from the South Lebanon Council and the Mais al-Jabal municipality during an inspection of damaged homes.

Amid this hostile environment, MP Ali Fayyad emphasized that the Israeli assassinations and the US cover for them are part of a broader destabilization effort in the Levantine nation.

Israel continues its attacks against Lebanese civilians, with its warplanes and drones flying over Lebanese airspace and bombing areas of the capital, the south, and the Bekaa, in violation of the ceasefire agreement and UN Resolution 1701.
