The state-run KCNA news agency reported that the program for the Day of the Sun (April 15), named after the late general secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea and president of the DPRK, is continuing with enthusiasm in Pyongyang and across the country.
More than 200 decorative flower research and production units are taking part in the festival of decorative flowers, titled “Warm Spring and Our Beautiful Life”.
Meanwhile, the photo exhibition displays more than 380 images alluding to the transformation process of Pyongyang, with its modern neighborhoods and skyscrapers that respond to a very own architectural conception, as well as the efforts of the country’s top leader, Kim Jong Un, in this regard.
The Asian nation is carrying out an extensive program of political, cultural, sports and recreational activities to celebrate the Day of the Sun.
