A Foreign Ministry statement, released in this capital, noted that during her visit to the Asian nation, the diplomat will meet with her counterpart, Takeshi Iwaya, and senior officials of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
Sarabia will also meet with members of the Japanese Parliament to promote dialogue and improve mutual understanding.
As part of her agenda, the foreign minister will hold talks with management leaders and investors to present the potential for investment and economic opportunities in her country and stimulate greater Japanese participation in key sectors such as infrastructure, clean energy, technology, and sustainable agriculture.
The Foreign Ministry pointed out that Sarabia will attend the official opening of Colombia’s pavilion at Expo 2025 in Osaka, in which her country will showcase its rich culture, innovation, and investment potential.
The release stated that Sarabia’s first visit to Japan reflects the shared commitment between both countries to fostering a dynamic and mutually beneficial partnership and reinforces the basis for continued collaboration in multiple sectors.
