During her stay in Australia, Gonzalez will be received by Ambassador for Gender Equality, Stephanie Copus Campbell, and will hold meetings with the University of Sydney’s teaching staff and prominent legal figures.

Her agenda here also includes interviews with lawyers’ associations, attending events organized by Griffith University, and meeting with members of the Cuba-Australia Friendship Society to address progress in implementing the Family Code in Cuba.

The Cuban legislator will also meet with specialists on issues related to women’s rights, gender, and family, some elements in which she develops her work as an expert.
