The head of State, who gave statements to the Mir broadcaster, stated that the agreement represents absolute security for his nation, as no one will go to war with a nuclear country.
He said, “No matter how much somebody might want to wipe the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) off the face of the earth, it will not happen: it is a nuclear country. If there were to be an explosion, they would feel too much of a response. It is the same with Belarus.”
Lukashenko noted, “The Poles, Baltic countries, and so on have their plans, but somehow they are quiet. Why are they quiet? I follow their statements, they inform me: they are being cautious now,” the Belarussian president explained.
