Timothewos underscored the importance of holding regular consultations to further reinforce the relationship between Addis Ababa and the European Union (EU), as well as the need to strengthen the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Engagement Agreement signed between the two sides, the local Foreign Ministry revealed on X.
He outlined the major national and regional events, stressing the significance of enhancing cooperation in economic development, investment, and regional peace and security.
Mordue, in turn, affirmed that the EU attaches greater interest to its relationship with Ethiopia.
He added that bilateral cooperation, particularly in economic development, entrepreneurship, and investment, yields regional benefits beyond the relations between both sides.
