The Subway and Premetro Workers Union Association (AGTSyP) informed that transportation will be stopped from 14:00 hours to 15:00 hours (local time) to denounce “the presence of fraudulently hired workers, under the false form of security personnel.”
In fact, they perform tasks equivalent to the position of Station Attendant and others included in our collective bargaining agreement, the Association stated in a press release and warned of outsourcing the work performed by its members.
The AGTSyP regretted the inconvenience to users and criticized the violation of the regulations in force by the employers.
On Thursday, subway workers joined a 24-hour strike over the policies President Javier Milei has put in place. The protest was convened by the General Confederation of Labor (CGT), the Central Workers of Argentina (CTA), and the Autonomous CTA (CTA-A).
