The military agency stated on its official Telegram channel this Wednesday that all drones were shot down and caused no damage to the plant located in the Krasnodar region, in the southwest of the country.

The statement noted that the plant supplies gas to the TurkStream export pipeline.

Meanwhile, Russian military authorities specified that Ukraine deliberately attacked the plant. The Korenóvskaya station’s pumping capacity is 31.5 billion cubic meters of gas per year.

The Russian Defense Ministry believes that the continued Ukrainian attacks on Russian energy facilities demonstrate that Kyiv is incapable of reaching a settlement to the conflict.
