The Russian diplomatic institution informed on its official website that Lavrov also discussed several aspects of the international agenda, including the situation in the Ukrainian crisis.

The Foreign Ministry also stressed that the two sides exchanged views on issues over the initiative that President Vladimir Putin presented to create a new security architecture in Eurasia, in which all states and their associations participated.

The Ministry stated that the talks highlighted the need to ensure stability in the Eurasian space, implement the indivisibility of security principle in practice, and ensure the States’ primary responsibility in solving the regional problems.
