The news channel informed that the party leaders presented the plan during a weekend visit to Egypt, a key country in the mediation process to halt Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip.
The delegation, led by Fatah Secretary General Jibril Rajoub, included Palestinian National Council (PNC) Speaker Rawhi Fattouh, former Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh, and Palestinian Ambassador to Cairo Diab al-Louh.
A source told Sky News Arabia that the roadmap seeks to eliminate Israeli pretexts for continuing its attacks.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has repeatedly stated that one of the objectives of his military campaign against Gaza is to force the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) to hand over power and disarm.
The source stated that the two-stage process would begin with a closed-door political talk, coordinated with Cairo.
It noted that during that stage, Hamas expects to accept the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) resolutions as a framework for resolving the conflict, and both sides would commit to a “comprehensive popular resistance as a strategic option.”
