The military institution specified that of 93 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) intercepted and eliminated, 87 devices were shot down over the Kursk Oblast, four in the Rostov Oblast, and two in Belgorod Oblast.

Yuri Sliusar, acting governor of the Rostov region, informed that at least two people were injured due to the Ukrainian drone attack on Russia’s Taganrog city.

The Russian provinces bordering Ukraine, such as Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, Voronezh, and the Republic of Crimea, regularly report shelling, drone strikes, and other attacks from across the border, forcing the population to seek shelter elsewhere.
