In recent days, regional press reported on the Pentagon’s decision to send several B-2 strategic bombers to Diego Garcia Island in the Indian Ocean for a possible air strike. It also reinforced its presence at US bases in Arab countries, including Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
Tehran has repeatedly claimed that its nuclear program is for peaceful purposes, although Western powers, led by Washington, doubt this assertion.
