Syrian villagers reject Israeli aid

Damascus, Mar 31 (Prensa Latina) The inhabitants of the Saida Al-Hanout town, in the south of southwestern Syria, province of Quneitra, refused to accept the food assistance that Israeli military tried to distribute in the area.

Sources quoted by the local news network (Deraa 24) reported that the inhabitants insisted on not dealing with the Israeli troops who raided the zone.

This refusal is similar to previous recent stances in other villages in the south of the country, where residents flatly reject any Israeli attempt to infiltrate the local community through aid or civilian activities.

A few days ago, residents of the village of Al-Rafid burned the aid provided to them by the Israeli occupation army prior to its withdrawal from the area.

Israel escalated its aggression in southern Syria, where Tel Aviv military launched violent attacks, while ground incursions continue in the buffer zone.

Zionist troops managed to take control of strategic locations, including the top of Mount Hermon, and continued to expand their military presence in the Quneitra Governorate.
