Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Guo Jiakun informed that Wang’s agenda, to be run from March 31 to April 2, includes the implementation of the consensus reached by the two nations’ leaders.
Guo added that the two sides will also discuss the future development of bilateral relations and address international and regional issues of common interest.
The spokesperson underscored that China and Russia have a comprehensive strategic partnership for a new era based on the permanent good-neighborly principles, cooperation, and mutual benefit.
Guo noted that this relationship has contributed to the development and revitalization of both nations, and the upholding of the basic norms of international relations.
Chinese President Xi Jinping recently stressed that Moscow and Beijing are “true friends like steel repeatedly tempered by fire” and urged close communication between all levels.
