In a statement addressed to the foreign ministers and presidents of the member nations of the Central American Integration System (SICA), Jaentschke pointed out that the neighboring country assumed functions that no one has granted them.
“They dare to give orders to a government and a sovereign country, threatening to impose measures harmful to the democratic and institutional order and of course unacceptably aggressive against our own legal system and harmful to all the regulations and protocols of SICA”, he said.
He strongly protested to the “usurper” Government of Costa Rica, and reminded that they are not the owners, neither of Central America, nor of SICA and much less of Nicaragua.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs pointed out that the incomprehensible superiority of San José, is very similar to the postures assumed by the colonialists of the land (United States).
