According to the Ariston group’s note published Thursday by the Russian press, President Vladimir Putin’s decision to remove the company’s Russian subsidiary from the list of entities subject to temporary management allows its return to a market in which it has been operating for 50 years.
In light of Putin’s decision, the August 1, 2024, measure to deconsolidate Ariston Thermo Rus will be reviewed and related losses will be taken into account, the statement said.
During last spring, one hundred percent of the shares of Ariston’s Russian structure were transferred to the management of Gazprom Domestic Systems. Now the nullity of this clause of the presidential decree has been recognized.
The decision of the Russian authorities was welcomed by Italy’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani.
