The Mirabeau Tissue Culture Laboratory, which began construction in October 2024 with the support of the Chinese Agricultural Mission, is scheduled to be inaugurated today.
The project was initiated by the government to boost crop production and approximately 2000 square meters of land was allocated for the program.
It was designed to provide Grenadian farmers with in-depth knowledge of modern agricultural practices and address crop shortage problems in parts of the Caribbean nation.
The facility, according to the Associates Times website, will help to further improve crop production, boost food security and create new economic opportunities.
