Ethiopia and UK addressed security and economic issues

Addis Ababa, Mar 27 (Prensa Latina) Promoting collaboration on growth, regional security, and economic integration were the focus of a political dialogue between the governments of Ethiopia and the United Kingdom (UK), Fana Broadcasting Corporate informed on Thursday.

Ethiopian Foreign Affairs State Minister Mesganu Arga and British Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office (FCDO) Africa Minister Ray Collins led their respective delegations at the meeting held in London on Wednesday.

Arga also met with FCDO’s director general for Africa and the Americas Harriet Mathews to address regional trade and security-related issues.

“I am pleased to be forging partnerships and deepening dialogue between our countries,” Matthews wrote on X after concluding the meeting with the Ethiopian delegation.

The source noted that Ethiopia-UK collaboration can boost growth and stability in the Horn of Africa region.
