The forum, themed “Asia in the Changing World: Towards a Shared Future,” brought together nearly 2,000 participants from over 60 countries and regions. Ding highlighted increasing global instability and uncertainty and called on Asian nations to collaboratively build a shared future and advance sustainable development.
His proposal included greater cooperation, promoting economic globalization through openness and integration, and safeguarding peace through peaceful coexistence.
He advocated for implementing China’s Global Development Initiative (GDI) and improving livelihoods to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Furthermore, he emphasized enhanced technological innovation cooperation and leveraging financial platforms like the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) and the Silk Road Fund (SRF).
