Considered the main group of its kind in the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music at California State University, the ensemble’s program in Cuba includes a meeting with students from different artistic education levels.

They will also donate instruments and implements to study music at the elementary level.

Pacific Standard Time, directed by Christine Helferich Guter, will play at the Fangio Habana Restaurant on March 30 and give a concert for artistic education students at the University of the Arts (ISA) on March 31.

Other performances include the Theater of the National Museum of Fine Arts (MNBA) in Havana on Wednesday, April 2, and the Cuban Art Factory (FAC)’s Nave 3 on Thursday, April 3.

As part of their visit to Cuba, Pacific Standard Time members will participate in cultural exchanges, receive master classes on Cuban music, and visit other institutions to learn about the history, current events, and local creation.
