Ali Khan thus responded to reports over Pakistani journalists’ possibility of eliminating the ban in force in this country to visit Israel, the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP) informed.
The diplomat clarified that visiting Israel is not possible with a Pakistani passport under existing regulations, and affirmed that the Government had taken note of reports over Pakistani journalists traveling there.
He explained, “Pakistani passports explicitly state that they are not valid for travel to Israel. Therefore, no such visit is possible under existing regulations.”
The Foreign Ministry spokesperson affirmed that Pakistan’s stance on Israel is strictly maintained and reaffirmed Islamabad’s support for establishing an independent and sovereign Palestinian State based on the pre-1967 borders with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.
