During the event co-facilitated by the Ethiopian Embassy in the United Kingdom and the Institute of Directors (IOD) Africa Group, State Minister for Foreign Affairs Mesganu Arga outlined the African country’s growing and favorable business environment, encouraging British companies to explore this country’s potential.

Joining virtually, Zeleke Temesgen, chief commissioner of the Ethiopian Investment Commission, highlighted ongoing legal and institutional reforms that have fostered a more favorable environment for foreign investors.

Ethiopian Investment Holdings Deputy Managing Director Meleket Sahlu spoke about the support and partnership opportunities available to UK companies looking to invest in Ethiopia.

Following the speeches, senior Ethiopian officials and a representative from Kagool, an IT solutions company that recently entered local market, shared insights into the country’s welcoming business environment during an interactive discussion with the audience.
