The congratulations of the Foreign Ministry were followed by those of other institutions, authorities and personalities of the Caribbean nation, also disseminated through this social network and X.

All of them, in different ways, recognize and thank the work of the State Security Organs in confronting those who are trying to destroy the Cuban Revolution.

This entity was instituted in 1959, with the merger of the Department of Investigations of the Rebel Army and the Department of Information and Intelligence of the Revolutionary Armed Forces.

At that time it was identified as the Department of Information G-2 Minfar and on June 6, 1961, the Council of Ministers enacted Law 940 to create the Ministry of the Interior, to which it was incorporated under the nomenclature of the Department of State Security.
