As reported today by the state-run KCNA news agency, the traditional event will be held at the People’s Palace of Culture, the Pyongyang Grand Theater, the Central Youth House and other theaters and venues in Pyongyang.
Art troupes from government agencies, factories, enterprises and farms will take part in the festival.
Their performances will reflect the firm will of the Korean people to be faithful to the life and revolutionary teachings of the President and build a prosperous nation under the guidance of Comrade Kim Jong Un, KCNA said.
Born on April 15, 1912 and died on July 8, 1994, Kim Il Sung was the creator of the Juche ideology and supreme leader of the DPRK from its founding in 1948 until his death in 1994.

Pyongyang, 25 mar (Prensa Latina) La República Popular Democrática de Corea (RPDC) celebrará del 10 al 17 del próximo mes el IX Festival Artístico del Pueblo Abril en Primavera en saludo al 113 aniversario del nacimiento de Kim Il Sung.
Cuerpo : Según informó hoy la agencia estatal de noticias ACNC, el ya tradicional evento tendrá por sedes el Palacio Cultural del Pueblo, el Gran Teatro de Pyongyang, la Casa Central de la Juventud y otros teatros y escenarios de esta capital.
En el festival participarán grupos artísticos de organismos gubernamentales, fábricas, empresas y granjas.
Sus actuaciones reflejarán la firme voluntad del pueblo coreano de ser fiel a la vida y las enseñanzas revolucionarias del Presidente y de construir una nación próspera bajo la guía del compañero Kim Jong Un, indicó ACN.
Nacido el 15 de abril de 1912 y fallecido el 8 de julio de 1994, Kim Il Sung fue el creador de la ideología Juche y líder supremo de la RPDC desde su fundación en 1948 hasta que murió en 1994.
