The statement released on Telegram by Rander Peña, Deputy Minister of the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry for Latin America, affirmed that the strong condemnation of these inhumane actions and the denunciation of the violation of the human rights of compatriots are an act of solidarity and justice.
It also reflects “the WDIM’s unwavering commitment to the principles of dignity and human rights.”
We categorically reject the kidnapping and illegal transfer of 238 Venezuelans to a concentration camp in El Salvador, where “a regime of exception prevails that denies basic citizen guarantees and where serious human rights violations have been documented,” he emphasized.
The Vice President for International Affairs of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela stated that these actions, coordinated between governments with fascist and racist policies, “are an affront to humanity and must be condemned by the international community.”
Peña thanked the FDIM for its support of the demands of the Government of the Bolivarian Republic and the affected families, demanding the immediate and safe release and repatriation of their compatriots to Venezuela.
He emphasized that their solidarity “is a beacon of hope in these times of deep concern and indignation.”
From Venezuela, he emphasized, “we reiterate our commitment to continue fighting for the liberation of our Venezuelan brothers and sisters, and for respect for the human rights of all migrants, regardless of their nationality or status.”
“International solidarity is our strength!” the Vice Foreign Minister asserted.
The FDIM of El Salvador’s statement stated that no government has the right to criminalize, expose, and humiliate humble workers in Latin America who seek to earn a living by migrating to other countries.
