Berri called on the Lebanese Army, judicial and security authorities, and the US-led Ceasefire Monitoring Committee to act quickly to clarify the events that occurred this morning in the south.

The Speaker highlighted Lebanon’s compliance and resilience with the ceasefire agreement, and emphasized that the main and only beneficiary of dragging the country and the region into the orbit of a massive explosion is Israel.

The parliamentary authority reiterated the call to all Lebanese, particularly the political forces, on the need to purify their discourse and unite around the State and its institutions.
