The ambassador briefed Dokora on the situation in Cuba, highlighting the impact of the intensified US blockade and praising Zimbabwe’s opposition to this siege and Cuba’s designation as a state sponsor of terrorism.
Dokora and his delegation fondly recalled their past as students in Cuba. Educational ties between Cuba and Zimbabwe were established shortly after Zimbabwe’s independence in the late 1980s.
