Following telephone conversations with US President Donald Trump, during which the resolution of the Ukrainian conflict and the possibility of holding peace negotiations were discussed, Erdogan could speak by phone with Putin, the publication writes.

Erdogan spoke with Trump on March 16th, and according to the Turkish leader’s administration, the latter expressed his support for Washington’s efforts to resolve the situation in Ukraine.

As Hürriyet notes, Turkey is satisfied with the results of the negotiations between the Turkish and US presidents.

Local media previously reported on the possibility of Erdogan’s visit to the United States in April; however, according to the publication, this information has not yet been confirmed.
