Meanwhile, the UN refugee agency (UNHCR) reported that the Italian Coast Guard recovered six bodies and was searching for some 40 missing migrants. Another 10 people, including four women, were rescued on Tuesday and taken to Lampedusa, Italy’s southernmost island.
