The political party founded by late Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat, noted in a statement that the Israeli Army’s actions in the Jenin, Tulkarem, and Nur Shams refugee camps “amount to systematic ethnic cleansing.”
Neither the population’s forced displacement of those localities nor the demolition of homes will erase the historical facts or undermine the national rights of our people, Fatah assured.
The movement condemned the military operation that Israel has been carrying out against the West Bank, especially in the northern towns of Jenin and Tulkarem, since mid-January.
According to Fatah, these demolitions coincide with “the resumption of the extermination war by the Israeli occupation in the Gaza Strip,” which demonstrates its objectives of forced displacement as part of its colonial project.
