While the enemies of the Revolution try to discredit your work, you bring health to the world, said Marrero in the exchange with the minister of the sector, José Angel Portal and the ambassador in Brazzaville, Indira Napoles.
The island’s medical collaboration in the Congo dates back to 1965 and since then more than 500 professionals have worked in Congolese territory in the care of more than 631,000 patients.
Currently, the Cuban brigade is present in four regions of the African country.

During the talks, the parties reviewed milestones of the more than 60 years of relations, which have been marked by the struggle for the emancipation of the peoples, collaboration and the training of professionals, always based on fraternity and mutual respect.
