According to the document detailed, more than 234,145 civilians perished, while 177,021 are still missing, between the years 2011 and 2025. The report revealed that 30,498 children died, while 16,659 women were killed. Likewise, 921 health professionals and 724 media workers were killed.
As for the victims of torture, the Network indicated that 45,332 people lost their lives.
The entity also documented 4,091 attacks against civilian infrastructure facilities, including 913 hospitals and health centers, 1,475 mosques and churches, and 1,703 schools, depriving thousands of children from their education.
As a result of the destruction, Syrians continue to suffer the world’s largest displacement crisis, with more than 13.4 million people having fled their homes, including 6.7 million internally displaced persons and 6.7 million refugees living in dire conditions outside the country.
