In the weekly program Con Maduro, in its 74th edition last night, the president said they will all return “healthy and free to their homeland”.
The head of state described as anachronistic and illegal the U.S. Foreign Enemies Act of 1798 and affirmed that it is also an aggression against Latin America and the Caribbean.
He affirmed that this regulation, created by the President of the United States, Donald Trump, for its implementation through an executive order, “is an illegal expression of aggression to our nationality and the act of greatest enmity and injustice”.
It is a failed step taken by the United States, he said, and expressed that Venezuelan migrants “are good, hard-working and productive people”.
Maduro made an appeal to the Americans and the Salvadoran people, crying out to God, and wondered how far this humiliation is going to go.
“That must stop immediately and we must seek the safe and sound return of all our boys from El Salvador,” he stressed, noting that this is a “kidnapping, humiliation and slave labor.”
