The Houthi military groups’ spokesman Yahya Sarea noted in a statement broadcast on local television that another attack was also carried out with a cruise missile and four drones against a US destroyer in the Red Sea.

The Houthis highest ruling body, the Supreme Political Council (SPC), also condemned the brutal Israeli attacks on Gaza, which coincide with the US airstrikes on Yemen.

Political observers recall this Tuesday that Israel resumed its military operations in Gaza, in what is considered the largest attack since the start of the ceasefire deal signed with Hamas two months ago, which has already killed more than 300 people and wounded hundreds among the civilian population, including women and children.

Amid new measures by decree, the US government recently announced the Houthi movement’s designation as an international terrorist organization.
