The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates criticized in a statement the international silence in the face of the crimes committed by the Israeli security forces in both territories.

It also described as insufficient “some statements expressing concern, warnings and demands” on the subject.

The portfolio accused, once again, the troops of the neighboring country of committing war crimes and crimes against humanity.

It even stressed that many Israeli leaders boast in public of their plans to annex the West Bank and liquidate the Palestinian cause, it denounced.

The Foreign Ministry affirmed that it maintains an intense “political, diplomatic and legal campaign in the decision-making centers of the countries and at the level of specialized international organizations and the UN” to press for the cessation of the Israeli aggression and occupation.

It also condemned the decision of Benjamin Netanyahu’s government to prevent the entry of international aid to Gaza, a territory devastated by 15 months of attacks.

We view with extreme concern the escalation of Israeli crimes and annexation measures announced in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, and the perpetration of the most heinous forms of ethnic cleansing and abuse of citizens, it stressed. It also rejected collective punishments, the installation of checkpoints and the constant expansion of Jewish settlements in the West Bank, where more than 750,000 Israelis live, despite the global rejection of this policy.
