Mirzoyan and his Indian counterpart, Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, witnessed as representatives of the two countries signed the Memorandum of Understanding between the Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO) of India and the Scientific Center of Drug and Medical Technologies Expertise (SCDMTE) of Armenia, on collaboration in the regulation of medical products.
Also included is a similar mechanism on cooperation between the Sushma Swaraj Institute of Foreign Service (SSIFS) and the Diplomatic School of Armenia, official sources informed.
The foreign ministers earlier held productive talks in which they reviewed opportunities for exchanges between their countries in political exchanges, trade, economy, connectivity, education, culture, and people-to-people contacts, the Indian Foreign Ministry indicated in a release.
They agreed to explore cooperation in digital technologies and pharmaceutical products, discussed regional and global issues of common interest, and focused on multilateral cooperation in the United Nations and other forums.
As part of his India agenda, Mirzoyan delivered the lecture “Armenia-India in a Changing World: Strengthening Ties, Securing Future Relations in a Changing World”, at the Indian Council of World Affairs and interacted with academics and researchers.
