The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said in a statement that it called on its ambassadors to intensify actions to defend the Egyptian proposal, which was adopted by the regions’ countries at an Arab League’s special summit held this week.

The campaign aims to explain the results of the meeting in the Foreign Ministry, decision-making centers, and public opinion in the host countries to mobilize political and material support, the diplomatic institution underscored.

The plan adopted at the regional meeting includes reconstructing Gaza in five years for 53 billion dollars, the proposal of an interim government of technocrats, and rejecting the resettlement of Palestinians from their land, as was proposed by US Presient Donald Trump.

It consists of several phases, first immediate aid and shelter for residents, the removal of millions of tons of rubble, and later rebuilding homes and infrastructure.
