According to the official Iranian news agency Irna, Baqai called on London to put an end to unconstructive approaches towards the Persian country and the countries of the West Asian region.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman also referred to Iran’s commitment to the principles of the UN Charter and international law, in particular the principles of mutual respect and non-intervention in the internal affairs of countries, as well as respect for international laws and regulations. Finally, the Iranian agency noted that Baqai recommended the British officials, instead of insisting on confrontational policies and baseless accusations against the Islamic Republic of Iran, to abandon their wrong approaches against the Iranian people and stop incitement and promotion of terrorism.
