The 10th edition of this event, which was opened at Havana’s Conference Center from Wednesday to March 7, sparked an exchange of knowledge among professionals of that sector, to meet current and future challenges, the ACN agency reported.
The President of the National Organization of Collective Law Offices (ONBC), Lilia Maria Hernandez, in her opening speech, expressed that more than 650 national and foreign delegates are focused on improving their knowledge on items contributing to the fundamental purpose of the ONBC.
According to the Cuban News Agency (ACN), Hernandez said the ONBC aims to guarantee the citizens’ right to technical defense, representation, and legal advice to both public and new economic stakeholders.
She also pointed out that Abogacia 2025 will address experiences related to the use of information and communication technologies (ICTs) for more efficient management in processes and decision-making.
Julio Cesar Garcia, head of the Office attending the law sector at the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC), National Assembly Secretary Homero Acosta, and the sector’s authorities, presided over Wednesday’s opening session.
