The local news network “Deraa 24” reported that the Tel Aviv military left through the same road they entered after staying for several hours, without any direct friction with local residents during the withdrawal.
According to the media outlet, Mariyah villagers reported that occupier troops stormed their village where they searched more than ten houses, confiscated individual weapons and arrested a young man, who was later released.
The residents noted that Israeli forces have been repeatedly raiding the village at night and without warning.
The previous day, an occupation army force stormed the village of Al-Rafid in southern Quneitra, backed by vehicles, and then withdrew after the Zionist military engaged in fierce verbal fights with the villagers.
Thousands of Syrians recently protested in several Syrian cities to express their condemnation of repeated Israeli aggressions and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s statements in which he threatened not to allow the presence of any Syrian forces or armed factions south of Damascus.
